If you’ve done much driving over the summer, you know the importance of having a full tank of gas. When your fuel tank is full, you can go the distance; when your tank is empty, you can’t go anywhere! It’s definitely better to be full, and that could be said in a lot of scenarios. I’d rather have a full stomach than an empty stomach. I’d rather have a full bank account than an empty bank account. I’d rather be full of energy than zapped of energy. I’d rather feel full of purpose than feel void of purpose. Thankfully, we serve a God of FULLNESS, and it’s His desire than we live a life of FULLNESS. Think about these scriptures:

“The earth is FULL of the goodness of the LORD” –Ps. 33:5

“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be FILLED.” –Matt. 5:6

“He FILLS my life with good things” –Ps. 103:5 (NLT)

“Be FILLED with the Spirit” –Eph. 5:18

“You anoint my head with oil, my cup RUNS OVER” –Ps. 23:5

“These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your jour may be FULL” -John 15:11

“Honor the LORD with your possessions and with the firstfruits of all your increase; So your barns will be FILLED with plenty, and your vats will OVERFLOW with new wine.” –Proverbs 3:10

“For the earth will be FILLED with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD as the waters cover the sea.” –Hab. 2:14

“The glory of the LORD FILLED the tabernacle” –Ex. 40:34

“And they were all FILLED with the Holy Spirit” –Acts 2:4

“Be FILLED with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding” –Col. 1:9

We see from these scriptures that when God does something, it’s not halfway but in full. God doesn’t just give you a touch of His goodness; He FILLS you with His goodness! Remember that God doesn’t want you running on empty. His will is that you be full of joy, full of peace, full of love, full of faith, full of power, and full of His Spirit! So, allow God to fill you once again today, and enjoy the FULLNESS of His blessing!
