“I can never escape from your Spirit!
I can never get away from your presence!
If I go up to heaven, you are there;
if I go down to the grave, you are there.
If I ride the wings of the morning,
if I dwell by the farthest oceans,
even there your hand will guide me,
and your strength will support me.”

-Psalm 139:7-10 (NLT)

These scriptures remind us that God is always with us. He’s with us in the good times and the bad. He’s with us when we’re “on cloud nine” and when we’re “down in the dumps.” He’s with us when we feel Him and when we do not. We can never escape His presence, and that’s a good thing! As this verse says, He’s there with His hand to guide us and with His strength to support us!

I love the lyrics in the old song, “The Blood Will Never Lose Its Power” by the late Andrae Crouch. Speaking of the blood of Jesus, he reminds us, “It reaches to the highest mountain and it flows to the lowest valley.”

Whether you’re on a mountaintop or in a valley today, know that God is with you! He’s with you to guide you, support you, and give you strength! The song continues, “The blood that gives me strength from day to day will never lose its power.” Know that His strength is available to you today, and His blood will never lose its power!
