“I will thank you, Lord, among all the people. I will sing your praises among the nations. For your unfailing love is as high as the heavens. Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds” (Psalm 57:9-10, NLT).
In these verses, the psalmist Davis proclaims that God’s love and faithfulness extend as high as the heavens and the clouds. Think about that for a moment. When you look at the sky to the clouds or the stars, that’s as far as you can see. And that’s how far God’s mercy and truth reach – there is no end!
His faithfulness will cover every situation you could possibly encounter. Whether the issue you face is with your health, family, finances, emotions, career, or whatever it may be, His commitment and truth will be there! David wrote this particular psalm when he fled from King Saul who had threatened his life. Still, David was able to proclaim that God would be faithful.
When we face a difficult hour, we don’t have to respond as people who have no hope. Instead of reacting to challenges with fear or stress, we can meet them with thanksgiving and praise. God’s commitment to us is limitless, and He will not leave us helpless! We can count on His unfailing love and faithfulness!
